Theory: Hydro-extractor plays a crucial role within the textile processing industry with its working rule. Basically, it's popular for its extra water removal from wet garments, and this water removing process is completed by gravity, and this through with the centrifugal shaft. Almost 65% of the water from garments is removed by this hydro-extractor machine.
Objectives:
1) to understand a few hydro-extractor machines.
2) to understand different parts of the hydro-extractor machine and their function.
3) to understand the working rule of the hydro-extractor machine.
Equipment: A hydro-extractor machine.
Machine Specification:
Length: 46"
Width: 46"
Height: 26"
Working Procedure:
1) initially, we take the wet garments from the washer after washing.
2) Then we load the clothes into the hydro-extractor machine consistent with its capacity.
3) After loading the turn on the machine by press the beginning button and waiting 5-6 minutes.
4) then stop the machine and unload the clothes from the hydro-extractor.
Name of various parts of Hydro-Extractor:
I) Base drum. II) Outer Drum. III) Inner Drum. IV) Motor. V) Motor pulley. VI) M/c Pulley.
VII) Galvanize steel top. VIII) Centrifugal shaft. IX) Lock. X) needle bearing. XI) Water outlet.
The function of the machine parts:
Bass drum: the bottom drum helps to carry the upper portion of the hydro-extractor machine.
Outer Drum: Outer drum helps to resist the water and it's made from chrome steel.
Inner Drum: It helps to get rid of excess water from the clothes by gravity.
Motor: Motor is employed to supply the motion and drive the machine.
Motor pulley: Motor pulley is employed to transfer motion from motor to machine.
M/c Pulley: It gets the motion from the motor via a motor pulley and this helps to rotate the machine parts.
Galvanize steel top: It covers the inner drum of the hydro-extractor machine.
Centrifugal shaft: Centrifugal shaft is rotated and makes the gravity that's bound to remove the water from garments.
Water outlet: A water outlet is employed to water out from the hydro-extractor machine.
Working principle:
The hydro extractor is often administered within the following ways:
Squeezing: during this stage, the water is removed by squeezing them with two cylinders.
Centrifugation: The centrifugation process remove water by force and it's applied to resistant yarns, knitted goods, and fabrics.
Steam pressure: A high-speed steam jet blown on the entire width of the stretched fabric passes through the material and eliminates the water in excess. Extracted water and steam are condensed and reused.
Vacuum: This method applies vacuum technology and is employed to dry very wet fabrics or delicate fabrics that don't get up to the pressure of the cylinders of a squeezing unit, which could negatively affect the surface structure.
